The Seven Ages of Man 2015-17

Inspired by Shakespeare, the panels are a personal tribute to my Dad, Jim Mulligan, now aged 85. I imagined seven scenes from his life that related to Shakespeare’s words and linked them to the seasons, a recurring theme for me. His life is seen unfolding through the frame of a grapevine. He wears red in each panel.

The panels were first exhibited at Strawberry Hill House in Twickenham in 2017 and then at the Stained Glass Museum in Ely.

Dimensions: 53 x 53cm framed including removable lightbox for display on wall or with natural light.
